What we do

Injury cases

If you have been injured due to the fault of another person, business, or governmental entity, we can help. The most common types of cases include:

Car crashes come in many varieties. They can include someone being rear-ended, side-swiped, t-boned, or hit head-on. Sometimes they involve trucks or motorcycles. They can occur when you’re driving a rental car or working for a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft. No matter what happened, if you were the driver or a passenger, our office is here to help you navigate the complex work of an automobile insurance claim.

Bicycle riders have the same right to the road as those operating motor vehicles. Unfortunately, many drivers often overlook bicyclists, and this can result in serious injuries. If you were hit by a car or truck while riding your bike, our firm will work to hold the at-fault driver accountable and get you back on two wheels as soon as possible.

Pedestrians are especially vulnerable when there is a distracted driver on the road. Whether you are in a cross walk or standing on a street corner, a driver looking at their cell phone or adjusting their infotainment system can lead to a potentially catastrophic collision. If you were a pedestrian hit by a vehicle, we will strive to get you the medical care you need while seeking out any insurance coverage that might be available to compensate you.

Falling down can certainly make you feel self-conscious. When you’ve suffered a serious injury, however, the repercussions can be far worse than mere embarrassment. If you slipped on a liquid spill inside a store, tripped over a broken sidewalk, or fell due to a hazard at someone else’s home, we will work with you to determine whether the owner of the premises is liable for your injuries.

Recreational activities are fun and some of them are even a little risky. Yet, there are times when our favorite pastimes become dangerous due to someone else’s negligence. If you suffered a serious injury because of an unsafe condition while skiing, rock climbing, ice skating, or participating in any other type of recreational activity, you may be entitled to compensation. Just because you signed a waiver doesn’t mean you gave up your rights to a safe and enjoyable experience.

Products are designed to make our lives easier. But, when an item fails to function as intended and injures someone, its manufacturer and/or seller can be held liable. We can work with industry experts to evaluate the defective product and ensure that those who put profits over safety are held accountable.

Dogs are our best friends. Yet, there are times when someone else’s dog isn’t so friendly. A dog bite can lead to severe pain, infection, and scarring. If you have suffered a dog bite, we can help you obtain compensation from the dog’s owner or their insurance company.

Food is one of the joys of life. Unfortunately, there are times when a meal makes us sick because of bacteria or other contaminants. If you experienced food poisoning that required medical treatment, we can help you investigate the source of the illness and seek compensation for your damages.

Insurance cases

If you are in a car crash, your auto insurance company is obligated to pay for collision-related medical expenses and provide lost income benefits if you are out of work for more than two weeks. There are times when an insurance company refuses to do so. We can hold them accountable to ensure that you receive the benefits you paid for.

If you were hit by a driver who either had no insurance or not enough coverage to fully compensate you, your auto insurance company is supposed to pay for your damages. If they refuse, we can hold them accountable to ensure that you receive the benefits you paid for.

Property damage cases

After an automobile collision, you’re entitled to have your vehicle repaired properly. The body shop is supposed to restore your car or truck as much as possible to the condition it was in before the crash. There are times, however, when the shop cuts corners, uses parts that are not approved by the vehicle’s manufacturer, or fails to perform necessary repairs. Sometimes, the shop does this because the insurance company puts pressure on them to contain costs. If you are not satisfied with the handling of your vehicle’s repairs, we can work with independent experts to determine if you have a claim for damages.

If you own a vehicle that suffered damage in a collision caused by someone else, your car or truck will likely be worth less, even if it has been repaired. This loss is referred to as “diminished value.” It is based on the fact that, when you try to sell or trade-in the vehicle, the buyer will offer you less because your car or truck has an accident history. We can work with independent experts to evaluate whether you have a diminished value claim and, if so, recover those damages from the at-fault driver’s insurance company.

If someone has destroyed or damaged your personal property, they are responsible for replacing or repairing it. Personal property can include things like recreational equipment, landscaping, and fences. You shouldn’t have to pay out-of-pocket for this damage and our job is to see that you don’t.
